My g/f and I have recently seperated. She moved back to the the city where we came from and is now closer to her family and has a good job. She left due to a variety of reasons. Basically, I have been a terrible b/f to her. I took her for granted, lied to her numerous times, never listened to what she would tell me, and basically broke her heart. Since she has left, I have been devestated. I feel like I have lost my best friend. I terribly regret the things I have done, and want to do everything in my power to show her I recognize the things I have done were wrong. I believe that her leaving has changed who I am and how I think and I am confident I can be that person she needs me to be. Is it too late? Or has there been too much damage done?

she broke my heart 6 months ago, and i still think about her everyday and have really strong feelings towards her; but i still hurt from what she did to me. Im gonna be at a dinner with a bunch of our friends and dont know how to act with her there…..
